Handery Rasimin is from Kg Penulangon Ranau, Sabah. He began his career in maintenance at a company in Kota Kinabalu, specifically involved in installing telecommunication poles for Celcom throughout Sabah from 2012 to2014. In 2016, he worked as a porter on Mount Kinabalu for 6 months. In 2021, Handery joined the ranger team at FMU 5 Kg Penulangon under the auspices of Forever Sabah. The purpose and goal of participating in this project are driven by his interest and the desire to gain experience and awareness of the importance of preserving wildlife, especially orangutans, and natural ecosystems.
