Aripin was born and raised in Kinabatangan. He is an RSPO-certified smallholder and is interested in participating in community activities. As a certified smallholder, he is keen to work with others to help them obtain RSPO certification. For him, the certification program is a valuable way to connect with both nature and local communities. His experience in the certification group has made him realize that certification can improve smallholders' capacity to manage their farms. Personally, he believes that accepting the position of Assistant Field Coordinator is an opportunity to build his confidence and enhance his communication skills.
